Avery - 10 months and 100 lbs!!

After a long afternoon of playing in the sun, planting flowers, and watching the dogs run crazy.. Megan and Avery, I think Av has a size advantage?!!

This is where Avery sets up shop when I leave in the mornings.. right between my "U" shaped body pillow.. she's soo much like a human it's weird!!

The Power of Prayer!!

Project Kitchen Renovation!!

On my last post I told you about our "kitchen renovation." I finally got around to taking pictures of the finished product..

Here are a few pictures of what we started with.. tile countertops and backsplash...

Here is the finished product!! We went with a granite called "uba-tuba" and travertine tile with mosaic (glass) for the backsplash.. We are so proud of the finished result!!

Our next project will be the guest bath.. we're going to paint the walls & cabinets.

Our first project when we moved in was our laundry room.. I figured it was the only room in the house we could paint whatever color we wanted. I ended up going with a bright green.. I'll have to post pictures now because "bright green" sounds really ugly... I love the way it turned out!!

I (Sarah) spent from Thursday to Saturday in Bossier City/Shreveport with mom, Am, the girls and Wes!! Wes had two ballgames on Friday afternoon.. We shopped in the off time!! Wes had a great outing and we are soo proud of him!! We can't wait for our next road trip!! (Amber took lot's of pictures so you'll have to check her blog; laciandmegan.blogspot.com)

As for Ben and I, we've been doing more home projects.. Ben's been working on his "man room" while I continue to decorate and make our house a home. Two weeks ago we converted our tile kitchen countertops & backsplash into granite and glass/tile backsplash.. It turned out amazing, we are soo proud!! I believe Ben took some before pictures, we'll have to take after and show the finished product!! Ben is itching for warm weather and green grass again, I am too!!

we're still here!!

Ben and I haven't blogged in a while.. to be honest, our life is pretty predictable. We spend most nights @ the house watching our shows, reading, and playing with Avery. We also spend a lot of time with family... still working a lot and making our house a home!!
